Nervaid Paste is a nutritional supplement for horses that may aid in nerve and muscle functions.

Nervaid Paste is formulated with L-Tryptophan to help reduce aggression and 'flighty' behaviour as well as providing B group vitamins and magnesium to stimulate appetite and improve muscle function which may contribute to general wellbeing.

Active Constituents:
Each mL contains:
300mg L-Tryptophan
100mg Thiamine HCL (Vitamin B1)
100mg Magnesium Proteinate
20mg Riboflavine (Vitamin B2)
10mg Pyridoxine HCL (Vitamin B6)

Directions for use:
Adult horse (500-600kg):
Give 20mL daily preferably within 4 hours of travel or exercise or as directed by a veterinary surgeon. Can be given in feed or as recommended by a veterinary surgeon.

Is Nervaid swabbable?

No. But we recommend checking with your particular set of guidelines for the event you’re participating in to see what they look for.

How long does it last?

Every horse is different so follow the directions on the label and observe the horse’s behaviour and adjust rate of use if necessary. Generally, it should last throughout the day if given in the morning. Nervaid is a nutritional supplement therefore with very nervy horses it may be advisable to start using the product two days prior travelling or eventing.

How long does it take to work?

We generally recommend administering Nervaid 4 hours prior the desired effect. However variables such as the horse’s size and unique metabolism can affect the action time.

Is it palatable?

Yes, it’s flavoured caramel for high palatability.

What happens if I give more than 20mLs to my horse?

Nervaid is a nutritional supplement made up of vitamins and minerals so any excess requirement will be excreted.

Can I use it as an ongoing feed additive?

Yes you can but we would recommend only doing this once speaking with your local veterinarian.

How many doses do I get per tube?

There are 3 x 20mL doses in each 60 mL tube so it is economical to use.

  • Yes, we offer hassle free exchanges and returns on orders (other than custom products) provided that you return it within 14 days after receiving your order, the product and packaging is in its original condition and it was not a customised or clearance/sale item.
