You make great content.

We make gear worth posting about.

The Active Equine Ambassador program — for riders who love to share.

If you're the person in your yard who always has your phone out. The one whose followers ask where your rug is from. The one who does a full review in your stories because you actually care what people put on their horses.

This is for you.

Active Equine's ambassador program — built around one idea: that the best marketing we can do is getting our gear onto horses that are actually loved and cared for, and letting the people who own them tell their story.

We're not looking for polished campaigns. We're looking for real.

What actually matters to us

AE Freedom Detach-a-neck Combo 100g - Active Equine

Real horse people over follower counts.

We would rather work with someone who has 800 followers and rides five days a week than someone with 80,000 who picked up a rug for the aesthetic. If your horses are your life, that comes through — and your community feels it.

Hybrid Mesh Rug | Ripstop Cotton Combo | Active Equine

Genuine content over polished campaigns.

We're not going to give you a brief and ask for a perfect shoot. We want the real stuff: the muddy morning posts, the rug-fitting video where your horse moves at exactly the wrong moment, the review written the way you'd tell a friend. That's what people trust, and that's what we want.

PVC Shade Mesh Combo Horse Rug - Active Equine

A real relationship, not a transaction.

We're building something long-term here, not a one-post deal. We want to know how the gear is actually holding up, what your horses think of it, and what we could be doing better. We take that seriously.

The AE Ambassador Tiers

There are three ways to partner with us. They're designed to match where you're at — your reach, your level of competition, and how much time you can genuinely commit. Have a read and apply for the one that fits.

Elite

For the riders people look to.

Who it's for:You compete at a national or international level, or you're a professional coach or well-known voice in the equestrian community. Your audience is engaged and looks to you for guidance on everything from training to equipment. You post regularly and you're comfortable reviewing products honestly, in detail, and in your own voice.

Active

For the riders who are building something real.

Who it's for:You compete at club, state, or regional level, or you're a riding instructor, Pony Club or Equestrian Australia member with a genuine social presence. You're not necessarily chasing sponsorship — you just love what you do and you share it. Your audience trusts your opinion because they know you're the real deal.

Community

For the riders who ride for the love of it.

Who it's for:You're a recreational rider, a trail rider, a riding club member. You might have a small following or you might just have a group chat full of horse friends who ask your opinion on everything. You're not here for the numbers — you just genuinely love horses, you love gear that works, and when something's good, you say so.This tier is for authenticity, full stop. We'll never ask you to fake enthusiasm or tick boxes for the sake of it.

How We Choose Our Ambassadors

1. Does it feel real? We look at whether you're genuinely engaged with horses and with your community, not just posting content for the sake of it. We'd rather see a grid full of muddy paddock shots with great captions than a perfectly curated feed with nothing personal behind it.

2. Is your content something your audience actually engages with? Follower count is the last thing we look at. We look at comments, saves, replies, questions. We look at whether people are responding like they trust you — because that's the kind of community we would love to support.

Every application gets read by someone on our team. We get a lot of them, so we only reach out to applicants we're taking forward — but if that's not you this time, please don't be put off. Circumstances change, programs grow, and we'd love you to try again down the track.

Questions we get asked a lot

At this stage the AE Ambassador program is open to riders 18 and over. To the young riders — we see you, and we're building something with you in mind. Watch this space.

No. There is no minimum. We care about whether your content is genuine and whether your audience trusts you — a tight-knit community of 500 people is worth more to us than 10,000 passive followers. Apply regardless of your numbers and let us make the call.

Not at all. Tier 3 — The Community — exists specifically for recreational and lifestyle riders. If your horses are part of your everyday life and you love sharing that, you're exactly who we're looking for.

We'd love to see you on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or YouTube — wherever your audience is. You don't need to be everywhere. Just be genuinely active on the platforms you use.

Absolutely. If you start in The Community and your profile grows, or you want to commit to more, you can apply to move up at any time. We love seeing that progression.

Every AE Ambassador receives a mix of product, a personal discount on our range, and other perks depending on your level. The specifics vary by tier — the more you commit, the more we invest in you. Beyond the practical stuff, you also get early access to new products, a place in our ambassador community, and a direct line to the team.

They're yours. We'll ask you to try them properly, share your honest experience, and tell us if something isn't working as well as it should. We don't expect a glowing review of something you genuinely didn't love — that kind of feedback actually helps us get better.

We read every single application personally. We get a lot of them, so if you don't hear back from us it doesn't mean we didn't look — it just means the timing or fit wasn't quite right. We'd encourage you to apply again down the track.
